Hi! I’m Jeri Nichols, founder of GenePharmer, LLC. Whether you stumbled upon my page or were referred, I am glad you are here!
I founded GenePharmer, LLC on the belief that medication therapy should be individualized by merging genetics and pharmacy to tailor clinical care. My goal since founding GenePharmer, LLC has always been the same, to help people find safer, more effective medications and, when possible, take fewer of them. I offer this service to individuals seeking answers, to concierge medical practices interested in how they can best serve their patients, and to employers looking for a meaningful benefit to offer their employees.
Background
I have worked in healthcare for more than two decades as both a genetic counselor and a pharmacist. I earned a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri–Columbia, a Master’s in Medical Genetics from the University of Cincinnati, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. I completed specialized training in pharmacogenomics and precision medicine through the University of Florida and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).
My experience spans private physician practices, major academic medical centers, genetics laboratories, community pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy. In every setting I saw that patients do best when care is truly individualized, when someone accounts for the unique factors that affect that person and provides clear, practical guidance about medications and genetic results. Merging my two passions, genetics and pharmacy, led me to create GenePharmer, LLC.
I would be honored to put this knowledge to work for you, your patients, or your employees.
